Fall 2018 STTACC Chat

If you would like to contribute to the next STTACC Chat, we would love to hear from you!

• Submit an article about an informative conference you went to.
• Tell us about the types of training or classes you have participated in.
• Who is retiring? Who was just hired? Who received a promotion?
• Highlight a unique department or program on your campus.

STTACC welcomes the opportunity to share training workshops, classes, conferences attended, certifications
obtained, and other professional development opportunities geared toward classified staff. Email your
Region Coordinator submissions by January 18th, 2019 to be published in the winter issue of STTACC Chat!

STTACC Chat is published quarterly. The Communication Coordinator, also acts as editor. If you see any errors or omissions, please contact communicationcoordinator@sttacc.net.

We are conducting a survey about the quarterly STTACC Chat and would love to hear your thoughts so we can make it better than ever! Please fill out our brief survey.

We want to hear your stories, memories, lesson learned, and about your newly acquired skills from the ‘Take a Walk on the Wild’ STTACC conference. Please send your articles to your Region Coordinator by September 17th.

The Summer 2018 STTACC Chat is now available! Read all about the exciting things happening with classified staff and the community and technical colleges statewide.

The STTACC Exemplary Staff Award is open to permanent, classified staff in the Washington State Community and Technical Colleges system. Nominees must be employed by a paid member institution of the STTACC organization.

Nominations are due Friday, June 15th until 3:00 pm on Friday, July 6th.

The winners will be announced at the awards banquet on August 16, 2018 during the annual conference, hosted this year by Wenatchee Valley College.
