DEADLINE EXTENDED: STTACC Exemplary Staff Award Nominations

The deadline for nominations have been extended to midnight next Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

The STTACC Exemplary Staff Award is open to permanent classified staff in the Washington State Community and Technical Colleges system. The nominee must be employed by a paid member institution of the STTACC organization. Please provide detailed and specific information about your nominee and give examples when appropriate.

Each nomination will be scored on a points-based system (out of 100 points). In the event that a person is nominated more than once, the highest score will be accepted of their nominations. Nominations are accepted from Friday, May 15, 2020, until midnight on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

There will be one award recipient per region. The winners will be announced during the annual conference.

2020 Exemplary Staff Awards

At the 2020 Annual Virtual Conference, August 26-27, 2020, we will honor one person from each region by presenting them with a 2020 Exemplary Staff Award. The winners will be announced during the annual conference. Nominees for the STTACC Exemplary Staff Award should have consistently demonstrated commitment and excellence in job performance and dedication to the mission and goals of their institution, as well as dedication to the professional development of the classified staff on their campus. Requests for nominations will be distributed to STTACC member institutions and will be posted on the STTACC web site. Is someone on your campus deserving of this award? Be sure to submit your nomination today!

STTACC Chat serves as a voice for all classified staff members. We welcome the opportunity to share training opportunities including workshops, classes and conferences geared toward classified staff. STTACC Support for Washington State Classified Employees

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting our country in an unprecedented way. We are proud to be members of the education community and understand that we all face unique challenges at this time. Your safety is a priority and as such the annual conference will be re-imagined as an online teleconference series hosted by Tacoma Community College. STTACC will continue serving the classified staff community online and look to you to know what is important to you now.
